The 3D weld inspection JOSY – Joining Systems – from our partner company SmartRay is a high-speed inspection system for non-contact optical weld inspection. It is suitable for all common joining techniques and detects and visualizes geometric features such as cross-sectional areas, seam transitions and seam protrusions. It also detects welding defects such as pores, penetration notches, undercuts and weld spatter. Detected welding defects are clearly assigned and can be specifically rectified in the rework station. The integrated process analysis helps you to avoid repeating defects and rejects.
