Pipe welding is one of those areas of production where it is clear that ‘time is money’. If you increasingly have to turn down large projects because you lack the capacity, it takes a lot of time to set up for an order or you don’t have the space to weld many joints, the SWR pipe welding robot offers the solution.
This collaborative robot specially designed for pipe welding connects, for example, steel pipes with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm just as precisely as stainless steel pipes from 2.5 mm wall thickness. It welds pipe-to-pipe connections, pipe flanges, pipe bends, T-pieces, cones and truncated cones as well as adapter pieces with flanges and is therefore extremely flexible in terms of geometry and fittings.
