Fume extraction torches for manual welding, robot welding and automate welding
Extraction at source is the most efficient method of protecting welders from harmful fumes. The gas cooled and liquid cooled extraction torches of the xFUME® line from ABICOR BINZEL capture up to 99.95 % of all dust particles > 0.1 µm. These absorbed dust particles are then filtered out in a connected mobile xFUME® extraction unit. Depending on local regulations, the filtered air can also be released directly into the environment.
The manual fume extraction torches in the xFUME® series weigh less than comparable welding fume extraction torches, provide a good view of the process, ensure optimum shielding gas coverage and are very comfortable to hold.
The automatic extraction torches as well as the robotic extraction torches in the xFUME® series ensure that all persons working in the vicinity are protected from the fumes through extraction at source. Welding cell or hall extraction systems do not offer this level of safety.
